Further applications include the control of auxiliary consumers that should only be activated when the battery is sufficiently charged, such as switching on an air conditioning system while driving or switching a refrigerator, a cold or hot box to 12 V on-board operation.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eIntelligent voltage evaluation of the switching thresholds prevents incorrect activation due to voltage dips or peaks. The dynamic threshold detection also prevents oscillation around the switching points when very large loads are switched. The switching status is indicated by an LED. The electronics are protected against moisture, and the connection is made in the rear terminal compartment by a plug-in screw terminal.
