The REDARC Smart Start SBI224 is used in dual battery systems to protect the starting battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to supply non-essential loads. The SBI224 delivers 24-volt DC with a continuous rating of 200A. The 200A battery isolator is best suited for heavy-duty applications.

It features sophisticated fault detection and an LED indicator to alert the user to faults such as over-voltage, voltage drop, and excessive current draw. The Smart Start SBI224 battery isolator is a safe way to charge heavy-duty dual battery systems and should be installed with a Fuse Kit.

Dual Sensing
The dual-sensing model allows for charging in both directions, allowing the auxiliary battery to be charged by an external source such as solar panels or an external battery charger.
