Victron BCD 802- Argo Diode Battery Combiner

Diode battery combiners are used to ensure continuous DC power to supply critical equipment, such as an electronic engine control system. A diode battery combiner allows two or more DC sources to be connected in parallel to supply essential loads. If one source fails, the supply to the essential load is not interrupted.

The Argo battery combiners are characterized by a low voltage drop, which can be attributed to the use of Schottky diodes: At low current, the voltage drop is approx. 0.3 V and the nominal output is approximately 0.45 V.
