The MultiPlus from Victron Energy is an advanced combination of an inverter and a charger in a stylish design, offering a multitude of functions.

As a true sine wave inverter, equipped with adaptive charging technology and Hybrid PowerAssist technology, it enables comprehensive system integration. One of its outstanding features is PowerAssist technology, which prevents a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection, from being overloaded. By first adjusting the battery charging process to prevent overload, additional energy from the battery is then used to boost power. Another important function is the uninterruptible power supply (UPS function), which automatically activates the inverter in the event of a grid failure or an interruption of shore power or the onboard generator, taking over the supply to consumers. With a transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds, the operation of computers and other sensitive electronic devices remains undisturbed. For systems requiring high power, the MultiPlus offers the option of parallel connection of up to six units. This allows for both three-phase and split-phase operation and ensures an almost unlimited power capacity.

For monitoring and controlling the MultiPlus, a connection to a GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, can be established. This enables the use of the free VRM app and the VRM portal website for local (via LAN) or remote monitoring and control of the system via the internet. Access options are diverse and range from phone and tablet to laptop and PC, giving users extensive control and customization options, from system configuration to automatic starting of a backup generator.
