Remotely Controllable On/Off Port

The Orion-TR features a port for remote on/off control, eliminating the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring. This port can be controlled by a power-saving switch or by the engine's run/stop switch, allowing for flexible and simple control (see manual).

Parallel Connection for More Power

All Orion-TR models are short-circuit proof and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current. An unlimited number of devices can be operated in parallel, making the Orion-TR a scalable solution for various power requirements.

Protection at High Temperatures

The Victron Orion-TR is equipped with a protection mechanism that automatically reduces the output current at high ambient temperatures to prevent overheating and ensure the longevity of the device.

Robust Design with IP43 Protection

When installed with the screw terminals facing downwards, the Orion-TR offers IP43 protection, making it dust and splash-proof. The screw terminals allow for easy installation without special tools.

Input Fuse and Adjustable Output Voltage

The Orion-TR features an input fuse (non-replaceable) and an adjustable output voltage, making it a flexible solution for many applications. Please note that this model is not suitable for charging batteries. For battery charging, the use of an Orion-Tr Smart is recommended.
