Mobile yet Robust

The housing frames of all WATTSTUNDE® DAYLIGHT models are made of anodized aluminum - this light yet strong material guarantees a high degree of mobility and resistance. It is extremely weather-resistant and highly stable, making it the ideal material. With dimensions of 810 x 535 x 35 mm and a weight of only 5.45 kg, they are significantly smaller and lighter than conventional 80 watt modules.

Specially Manufactured ESG Anti-Reflective Glass

The high-performance modules have acid-etched anti-reflective glass installed, which exhibits a self-cleaning effect (lotus effect). Due to a special pre-treatment, the solar modules have high transmittance, which is reflected in increased power output. Whether in storms, hail, snow or saltwater - thanks to the stable construction and water-repellent surface, they withstand even extreme climatic conditions!

Stable Wind and Weatherproof Construction

Due to our personal commitment to the quality of our solar modules, we monitor every production step: from cell manufacturing to the assembly of components into the finished product. The modules thus exhibit a stability that meets the requirements for outdoor use. They are therefore ideally suited for mobile use on motorhomes, in garden sheds and all other 12V solar island systems. Easy installation, quick commissioning and prepared materials make assembly a breeze!

Optimal Energy Yield

WATTSTUNDE® SPS DAYLIGHT solar modules are equipped with Sunpower cells with Back-Contact. But what does that mean? With normal modules, you can clearly see the running, mostly silver contacts (cell connectors) on the surface of the cell. These contacts are not present in Back-Contact modules and thus prevent shading of the cell. Thanks to their anti-reflective glass, the modules allow significantly more light to pass through and therefore ensure higher transmission compared to other modules. The result is a significantly higher cell efficiency of over 22%, which ensures a higher energy yield, which in turn saves volume and weight!
Optimal performance in the smallest area - especially in poor and diffuse light conditions, the high-performance modules guarantee a constant energy supply.

Protection according to IP65

The modules are equipped ex works with a 90 cm cable connection and MC4 connectors to simplify the connection of multiple modules.
They can be installed and used in any autonomous battery applications such as in motorhomes, garden sheds, camping, island systems and all OffGrid systems.
Thanks to the integrated bypass diodes in the junction box, the module can continue to produce power even with shading or weak light conditions. The junction boxes are protected against the ingress of water and dust according to IP65.

Further Information

In addition to a 12V battery, you also need a charge controller that regulates the power supply and thus prevents overcharging or, if necessary, deep discharge of the battery. In addition, it ensures optimal charging voltage and guarantees the necessary reverse current protection at night.
