The ARB Snatch Strap recovery strap is specially designed to stretch under load. This is an effective method of recovering a stuck vehicle when a second vehicle is available. The 20% elasticity builds up kinetic energy and prevents damage to the vehicle during the recovery process.

Without elasticity, there is an enormous point load at the towing points and the risk of damage is very high!
