The REDARC BCDC1225D for the engine compartment is a 12V 25A DC/DC battery charger. It is equipped with an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar regulator that can charge from both the solar system and the alternator simultaneously. And with integrated "Green Power Priority", it prioritizes solar charging, which means less strain on the alternator.

The unit is suitable for 12 or 24-volt vehicle systems and works with standard or smart alternators.

The BCDC1225D features charging profiles that make the unit suitable for charging AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries. For most applications, the BCDC1225D is designed for batteries from 75-200Ah.
