The B500 battery management system uses a multi-level architecture that detects the voltage, current, and temperature of the battery in real-time during charging and discharging. This allows the system to be precisely and effectively protected against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, and undertemperature. The B500 control's safety function is designed redundantly, thus meeting the requirements for functional safety and system stability.
