The new CB handheld radio, with LiIon battery pack, CTCSS / DCS encodings and much more.

This relatively compact device features an integrated Li-ion battery pack and monitored charging technology that automatically shuts off when the battery is fully charged. Accessories for charging at home and for operating/charging in a 12-volt vehicle are included.

Like all current devices, the Randy III also offers all common country standards, which can be easily switched.

The Randy III offers a great deal of features despite its small size - even CTCSS/DCS encoding for group applications is included.

The following controls are available:

• On/off switch with volume control on the top of the device
• PTT transmit button
• High/low power switch
• Squelch keys (+/-)
• Mode button for selecting AM/FM operating mode
• Up/down buttons for channel selection and setting menu functions
• ANL/NB button for switching the interference suppression functions
• CTCSS/DCS button for activating and selecting pilot tone functions (plus menu access)
• Scan / Dual-channel monitoring : Two channels are monitored alternately. The device constantly switches between the two programmed channels. DW button to start the scan and dual-channel monitoring.
• Monitor button to open the squelch
• EMG button for the two emergency call channels, plus Vox function
• F key for various functions

On the right side, the device has a microphone/earphone jack with a rubber cover. It also features a very sturdy and rotatable belt clip.

On the top side, next to the on/off switch with volume control, is the antenna socket in TNC standard (screw thread).
and a bright white LED that can be used as a "flashlight".
