"FACTOR 55" PROLINK BRIDLE WINCH SHACKLE MOUNT, GRAY

The ProLink Bridle allows winch owners to replace the conventional winch hook with a safer and stronger screw pin shackle/D-ring. The ProLink Bridle is a product to attach multiple shackles to a winch rope. It is a purpose-built commercial product primarily designed for towing companies.

The three individual shackle attachment holes allow the winch operator to attach fixed-length bridle links for conventional bridle tows to the outside positioned holes, as well as a single centered shackle attachment point for a conventional single shackle recovery point. Specialized shackle attachment points prevent dangerous sideways shackle loading due to the pivoting function of the shackle pin attachment holes. This allows for the application of Closed System Winching techniques.

For high-repetition commercial towing, specialized self-centering shackles provide a safer method of towing. The ProLink Bridle’s functionality is similar to the lash towing used in the marine towing industry where yawing of the boat is undesirable. Like all ProLink family models, the ProLink Bridle is manufactured in the USA from 6000 series aluminum and features a 6Al-4V Titanium double shear pin. The ProLink Bridle is available only in the military-specified hard anodized gray finish (Mil-A-8625 F Type III).
