The REDARC BCDC1220-IGN is a 12 Volt, 20 Ampere DC charger designed for the complete charging of a lead-acid auxiliary battery. It is suitable for vehicles equipped with an ECU-controlled alternator with variable voltage.

The BCDC1220-IGN features a lower voltage setting, allowing it to operate even with a low alternator input voltage.

The BCDC dual battery charger operates with a wide operating range (9 - 32 V), offering the ability to charge both 12 and 24-volt vehicle systems.

Thanks to the unique charging profile for each specific battery type, the BCDC charger is able to achieve and maintain optimal charging of auxiliary batteries while driving.

The unit acts as a dual battery isolator and protects the start battery if the voltage drops too low.
