The REDARC BCDC1250D In-vehicle battery charger is a 12V 50A DC to DC in-vehicle battery charger.

Designed to deliver a higher current output, the BCDC1250D features an additional SoftStart charging stage.

The Battery Charger is equipped with a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, charging simultaneously from both solar and the alternator. With the built-in Green Power Priority, it prioritizes solar charging first, which means less load on the alternator. The unit is suitable for 12V or 24V vehicle systems and works with standard or variable/smart alternators. It is also compatible with all common battery types, such as AGM, Gel, standard lead-acid, calcium, and LiFeP04 batteries.

As a guideline, the BCDC1250D is used for batteries over 200AH. For smaller batteries from 75-200AH, REDARC recommends the BCDC1225D 69-02006.
