Sikaflex® 522 - 300 ml Cartridge in white

Sikaflex®-522 is a low-emission, one-component STP adhesive and sealant. The product has good weather resistance and mold resistance. Sikaflex®-522 meets the highest EHS requirements and shows good adhesion to a variety of substrates with minimal pre-treatment.

Sikaflex®-522 shows good adhesion to a variety of substrates and is suitable for elastic sealing and bonding applications indoors and outdoors. This product is suitable for applications in the climate and ventilation sector, as well as for food processing plants.
Suitable substrates include wood, glass, metals, metal primers and paints (two-component systems), ceramic materials and plastics. Observe manufacturer recommendations before using Sikaflex®-522 on materials susceptible to stress cracking. Preliminary tests must be carried out with original materials to avoid stress cracking. This product is only suitable for experienced users. To ensure adhesion and material compatibility, preliminary tests must be carried out with original materials under the respective conditions.

The bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease, oil and dust. Surface pre-treatment depends on the specific nature of the substrate and is crucial for a durable bond. Information on substrate pre-treatment can be found in the current Sika® pre-treatment table. We recommend cleaning the surface to be bonded beforehand to remove dirt and grease residues.
