Easy and Flexible Installation

Installed in the engine room or battery compartment, the RBS can be conveniently controlled from another location, for example by a small switch on the dashboard or by smart devices such as a battery monitor. The integrated buttons also allow for local operation, while the included 5-wire cable supports flexible external control, accepting both two-wire and one-wire ON/OFF commands.

Energy Efficiency through Magnetic Latching

As a self-latching relay, the RBS does not draw current from the battery when the contact is closed. This distinguishes it significantly from traditional relays that require a continuous holding current.

Comprehensive Protection

With protection mechanisms against high/low supply voltage, overheating, and a function for contact weld remediation, the RBS offers reliable operation under all conditions. Furthermore, it complies with the ignition protection standard ISO8846, qualifying it for use in sensitive environments.
