Victron 12V/60Ah AGM Deep Cycle Batt.

Victron offers a range of cyclic 12V AGM batteries, characterized by their VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) technology.

These valve-regulated cells safely vent gases produced by overcharging or cell failure, making the batteries extremely leak-proof and maintenance-free. They can be installed in any position.

The AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology ensures that the electrolyte is absorbed by fine glass fiber mats. These batteries are particularly suitable for short-term high current demand, such as starting engines. One of the strengths of Victron AGM batteries is their low self-discharge rate of less than 2% per month at 20°C, which doubles with every 10°C increase in temperature.

Thanks to this low rate, these batteries can be stored for up to one year without recharging, provided they are kept cool. Victron AGM batteries show excellent recovery even after deep discharges. However, it is important to note that repeated deep discharges can lead to permanent damage. The capacity of these batteries is specified for a discharge time of 20 hours, with a lower discharge current increasing the effective capacity and a higher discharge current decreasing it.
