Discover the Victron Energy AC Sensor – Your Solution for Precise Energy Measurements
The Victron Energy AC sensor is an essential tool for measuring AC current, power (VA), and calculating the energy (kWh) of a PV inverter. With a maximum capacity of 40A input current, this simple, external current sensor allows for accurate monitoring of your photovoltaic system's performance data.
Key Features and Installation:
Easy Installation: Route one of your PV inverter's AC cables through the AC sensor and connect it to the AUX or TEMP sensor input of an inverter, Multi, or Quattro, ensuring it's on the same phase.
Multi and Quattro Hardware Requirements: The Multi or Quattro must have a new microprocessor (firmware version number starts with 26 or 27) and be connected to the VE.Bus port of the Color Control GX. The TEMP sense input is suitable for the AC sensor, and for certain hardware versions of the MultiPlus-II, the AUX input is located on the RJ12 connector.
Power Range Configuration: Set the DIP switches according to the maximum expected power to ensure correct measurement. Multi-phase installations: An additional AC sensor is required for each phase of your PV inverter.
Integration into Your Victron System:
The data collected by the AC sensor can be displayed directly on your Color Control GX and sent to the VRM website or a GX device. This seamless integration allows for comprehensive monitoring and management of your energy production and consumption, directly from your control panel or mobile device.
Choose the Victron Energy AC sensor for precise and reliable acquisition of your PV system's performance. Improve the monitoring and management of your energy supply with this easy-to-install and highly functional component.
