Victron BCD 402- Argo Diode Battery Combiner

Diode battery combiners are used to ensure continuous DC power for critical equipment, such as an electronic engine management system. With the help of a diode battery combiner, two or more DC sources can be connected in parallel to supply the essential load. If one source fails, the supply to the essential load will not be interrupted.

Argo battery combiners feature a low voltage drop, which can be attributed to the use of Schottky diodes: At low current, the voltage drop is approx. 0.3 V and the rated output is approx. 0.45 V.
