Victron BMV-700 Battery Monitor: Reliable Battery Monitoring

The BMV-700 is a highly accurate battery monitor.
The primary function of a battery monitor is to calculate the consumed ampere-hours and the state of charge of a battery. The consumed ampere-hours are calculated by integrating the current flowing into and out of the battery.

The remaining battery capacity depends on the consumed ampere-hours, the discharge current, temperature, and the age of the battery. Complex software algorithms are required to account for all these variables. In addition to basic display options such as voltage, current, and consumed ampere-hours, the BMV-700 series also displays the state of charge, remaining runtime, and power consumption in watts.

With the Bluetooth Smart Dongle, you can monitor your batteries via an Apple or Android smartphone, tablet, MacBook, or other devices.

All electrical connections are made with the PCB connector on the current shunt. The shunt is connected to the monitor via a standard RJ12 telephone cable.
Included in delivery: RJ12 cable (10 m) and battery cable with fuse (2 m). No other components are needed. Also included are a separate front bezel for a square or round display; a securing ring for rear mounting and screws for front mounting.

A quick installation menu and a detailed scrollable setup menu assist the user in making the various settings. Alternatively, a quick and easy solution can be used: simply download the smartphone app (Bluetooth Smart Dongle required).
