How the Cyrix-Li-Load works

The Cyrix battery combiner protects the battery from excessive discharge by consumers.
The Cyrix-Li-Load disconnects when its control input reaches a "free-floating" state (open circuit). If the battery voltage recovers after disconnection (which happens if no other loads are connected to the battery), the BMS output goes high and the Cyrix reconnects after 30 seconds. After 3 reconnection attempts, the Cyrix remains disconnected until the voltage has risen to over 13 V (or 26 V or 52 V) for at least 30 seconds (this indicates that the battery is being recharged). Alternatively, a battery protector can be used (advantage: very low power consumption).
