Victron EasySolar II 48/3000/35-32 MPPT 250/70 GX

EasySolar-II GX Multifunction Device: Charge Controller, Inverter, and Battery Charger Combined.

The EasySolar-II GX combines an MPPT solar charge controller, an inverter/battery charger, and a control center in one enclosure. The product is easy to install, with minimal wiring.

The Solar Charge Controller: SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr

The integrated charge controller comes from Victron's SmartSolar series and guarantees maximum yields with the ultra-fast MPPT procedure. Especially in cloudy weather, when the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Critical partial shading of the solar modules is detected by the MPP controller and a new operating point is sought, so that even under the most unfavorable circumstances, high yields can still be achieved. The DC output of the SmartSolar MPPT is connected in parallel to the DC connection of the MultiPlus-II inverter/charger.
The on/off mechanism of the MultiPlus-II also controls the SmartSolar.

MultiPlus II 48/3000/35 Inverter and Battery Charger

The Multiplus 48/3000/35-32 from Victron is a combination device consisting of a 2400 W pure sine wave inverter and a battery charger. The smartly integrated battery charger provides an impressive 35 A, allowing batteries to be charged extremely quickly when shore/grid power is available. The sine wave inverter integrated in the Multiplus transforms the 48 V DC from the battery into a 230 V AC voltage. Thanks to the true sine wave, the voltage quality is perfectly suited for sensitive electronic devices.

GX Device

The integrated GX device includes:

• A BMS-Can interface. This can be used to connect to a compatible CANbus-managed battery. Please note that this is not a VE.Can compatible connection.
• A USB port
• An Ethernet port
• A VE.Direct port

The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II and the SmartSolar MPPT with one VE.Bus and one
VE.Direct connection each.

Display and WiFi

The display shows parameters for battery, inverter, and solar charge controller. The parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Wi-Fi enabled device. Wi-Fi can also be used to set up the system and change settings.
