Victron Energy VE.Bus Smart Dongle

The VE.Bus Smart dongle combines two products:

First, it is the Bluetooth accessory for Victron inverter/chargers. Multis, MultiPluses, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros and the Phoenix inverter range with a VE.Bus port.

After installation, you can use the VictronConnect App to monitor operation and also operate the system: changing the input current limit and switching between On, Off and Charger-only mode.

It can also serve as a voltage and temperature sensor for the inverter/charger. This works with all models and is particularly advantageous in combination with the MultiPlus-II, as this device does not have built-in connections for voltage and temperature sensors.

For monitoring, the device is a good alternative in motorhomes, smaller yachts and caravans where the Color Control GX or Venus GX would be too extensive.
