The Victron Inverter 12/1200 VE.Direct IEC converts 12 V DC to 230 V AC as a pure sine wave – ideal for sensitive electronics and many everyday appliances. With 1200 VA (approx. 1000 W continuous power at 25 °C) and an IEC-320 cold device socket, you get a compact, proven solution for your motorhome, boat, workshop, or off-grid operation. Via VE.Direct, you can conveniently configure and monitor the inverter using an app or computer.

VE.Direct – Connect, Configure, Monitor

The integrated VE.Direct communication port makes the inverter particularly flexible: With the right interface, you can use it with a computer (VE.Direct to USB) or via smartphone/tablet (VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle). This allows you to set parameters, read values, and detect alarms early.

Individual Settings – Suited to Your Battery and Your Setup

You can adapt the operation to your power supply: for example, alarms for low battery status, thresholds for shutdown/restart in case of undervoltage, and dynamic shutdown depending on the load. The output voltage (210–245 V) and the mains frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) can also be adjusted. For maximum efficiency, the ECO mode is also available.

ECO Mode – Less Standby Consumption, More Runtime

In ECO mode, the inverter switches to standby as soon as the load falls below a defined value. If the load increases again, it starts automatically. This is particularly practical if you want to get as much usable energy as possible from a battery.

Convenience: Remote On/Off Switching

For everyday use in a vehicle or in a technical compartment, remote on/off switching is ideal. This allows you to place the switch where you need it – without having to go to the device every time.

Seamless Switching Between Power Sources (Optional)

If you want to switch between two AC sources, an automatic transfer switch like the Filax Automatic Transfer Switch is recommended. This allows for particularly fast switching, so many devices continue to run without you having to restart them.
