Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120-16 Inverter 2400 W and Charger 120A

Innovative Combination Device from Victron: Sine Wave Inverter and 12 V Battery Charger in One!

The Victron Multiplus 12/3000/120 is a device combination of a 2400 W sine wave inverter and a 12 V battery charger. The smartly integrated battery charger delivers an impressive 120A, allowing batteries to be charged extremely quickly when shore/grid power is available. The sine wave inverter integrated into the Multiplus transforms the 12V DC current from the battery into 230 V AC voltage. Thanks to the true sine wave, the quality of the voltage is perfectly suited even for sensitive electronic devices.

Versatile Use
The MultiPlus is a powerful true sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger that utilizes adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact enclosure. Models are available in the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module.

Two DC Outputs for Charging Two Batteries
The main DC connection can provide the complete output current. The second output - e.g. for charging the starter battery - is set to 4 A and a slightly lower output voltage.

Unique PowerAssist Function
The MultiPlus prevents overloading a limited AC source. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced to protect against overload. Next, the power of a generator or shore power supply is boosted with energy from the battery.

Uninterruptible AC Power (UPS Function)
In the event of a grid failure or an interruption of shore power or the onboard generator, the inverter of the Multi will automatically switch on and take over the supply of connected consumers. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is ensured.

Practically Unlimited Power through Parallel Connection
Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel for high power demands. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Please refer to our datasheets to see which models are suitable for parallel operation, three-phase, and split-phase operation.

Local Monitoring and Control
Several options are available: battery monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).

Remote Monitoring and Control
If systems with a Color Control Panel are connected to Ethernet, they can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.

Remote Configuration:
Victron Ethernet Remote, Venus GX and the Color Control Panel. The data can be stored and viewed free of charge on the VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
