Innovative Combination Device from Victron: Sine Wave Inverter and 48 V Battery Charger in One!

The Multiplus 48/3000/35 from Victron is a combination device consisting of a 2400 W sine wave inverter and a battery charger with 48 V. The smartly integrated battery charger provides an impressive 35 A, allowing batteries to be charged extremely quickly when shore/grid power is available. The sine wave voltage converter integrated into the Multiplus transforms the 48V DC from the battery into 230 V AC. Thanks to the true sine wave, the quality of the voltage is perfectly suited even for sensitive electronic devices.
Also included: A powerful 16 A transfer switch.

Versatile Use

The MultiPlus is a powerful true sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger that uses adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch, all in a single compact enclosure. Models are available ranging from 800 VA to 5000 VA per module.

Unique PowerAssist Feature

The MultiPlus prevents the overload of a limited AC source. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced to prevent overload. Next, the power of a generator or shore power supply is boosted with energy from the battery.

Uninterruptible AC Power (UPS Function)

In the event of a grid failure or an interruption of shore power or the onboard generator, the Multi's inverter is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that an uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is ensured.

Practically Unlimited Power through Parallel Operation

Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel for high power demands. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Please refer to our datasheets to see which models are suitable for parallel, three-phase, and split-phase operation.

Local Monitoring and Control

Several options are available: Battery monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).

Remote Monitoring and Control

If systems with a Color Control Panel are connected to Ethernet, they can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.

Remote Configuration:

Victron Ethernet Remote, Venus GX, and the Color Control Panel. Data can be stored and viewed free of charge on the VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
