Orion-Tr Smart isolated DC-DC 24/12 20A Charger

The Orion-Tr Smart 24/12 20A 240W charger is a professional, DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger with integrated Bluetooth.

For use in dual battery systems in vehicles or on boats where the (smart) alternator and the starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The device can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and can be controlled remotely via a remote on/off switch. It features an engine running detection mechanism.

• Battery charging algorithm (configurable) or fixed output.
• Smart alternator compatibility: Engine running detection.

Adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm: Bulk – Absorption – Float

• For lead-acid batteries, it is important that for shallow discharges, the absorption time is kept short to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption duration is automatically extended to ensure the battery is fully charged.
• For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed, preset to 2 hours. Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected.

Remote On/Off
A remote on/off switch or a relay contact can be connected to the two-pole connector.
Alternatively, connector H (right) of the two-pole connector can be switched to a battery positive terminal, or connector L (left) of the two-pole connector can be switched to the battery negative terminal (or for example, to the chassis of a vehicle).

All models are short-circuit proof and can be paralleled to increase output current.
An unlimited number of devices can be connected in parallel.

Over-temperature protection
The output current is reduced in case of high ambient temperatures.

Protection class IP43
When the screw terminals on the device are installed facing downwards.
