The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 48/12-20A is a powerful, galvanically isolated DC-DC charger that is ideal for charging 12V batteries from a 48V system. With up to 20A output current and freely configurable output voltage via Bluetooth, the device is particularly flexible – as a charging booster for service batteries, a voltage converter, or a constant current source.

Thanks to the adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm, the charging booster is perfect for lead-acid and lithium batteries. Galvanic isolation provides additional protection for the onboard electrical system – ideal for vehicles with Euro 5/Euro 6 engines or for long cable runs (e.g., in boats or motorhomes).
