Victron Inverter 2400 W Continuous Power for 12 V Systems
SinusMax – Cutting-edge TechnologyThe Phoenix inverter series was developed for commercial use; it is suitable for a wide variety of applications. The development uncompromisingly aimed for an inverter with a clean sine wave output at high efficiency. By applying the latest hybrid HF technology, it was possible to introduce a quality product with compact dimensions and low weight, which can easily deliver any desired power.
Highest Starting Power
A key feature of SinusMax technology is its particularly high starting power. This is not possible with conventional HF technology. Phoenix inverters are able to handle the high inrush currents of, for example, refrigeration compressors, power tools, and similar devices.
Virtually Unlimited Power through Parallel Connection and Three-Phase Operation
Up to six inverter units can be connected in parallel to increase power. For example, six 24/5000 units can deliver 24kW / 30kVA of power. Three-phase operation is also possible. Load transfer to other AC sources: The automatic load transfer switch For smaller loads, we recommend the Filax automatic transfer switch. Computers and other sensitive electronic devices can continue to operate practically uninterrupted, as the switching times are very short (under 20 msec).
Computer Interfaces
All models have an RS-485 port. You only need our MK2 interface (see also under accessories). This interface provides galvanic isolation between the inverter and the computer and converts from RS-485 to RS-232. An RS-232 to USB conversion cable is also available. With our VEConfigure software, which can be downloaded free of charge from our website www.victronenergy.com, the inverters can be adjusted as required. This includes the output voltage and frequency, the upper and lower voltage limits, and the programming of the relay. The relay can be used, for example, to generate signals in special situations or to start a generator.
The inverters can also be used with VENet, Victron Energy's innovative power monitoring network, or other computer-controlled regulation and monitoring systems.
