Victron Phoenix VE.Direct 48/3000 Inverter

The Phoenix inverter range has been developed for professional duty. It is suitable for a wide range of applications. The design has been uncompromisingly focused on achieving a true sine wave inverter with high efficiency. Using hybrid HF technology, it has been possible to present a quality product with compact dimensions and light weight that can deliver any desired power effortlessly.

A key feature of SinusMax technology is its particularly high starting power. This is not possible with conventional HF technology. Phoenix inverters are able to handle the high inrush currents of, for example, refrigeration compressors, power tools, and similar appliances.

Up to six inverter units can be connected in parallel for increased power. For example, six 24/5000 units can deliver 24kW / 30kVA of power. Three-phase operation is also possible. Load switching to other AC sources: The automatic transfer switch. For smaller loads, we recommend the Filax automatic transfer switch. Computers and other sensitive electronic equipment can thus continue to operate virtually uninterrupted, as the switching times are very short (under 20 msec).

All models have an RS-485 port. All you need is our MK2 interface (see also under accessories). This interface provides galvanic isolation between the inverter and the computer and converts from RS-485 to RS-232. An RS-232 to USB conversion cable is also available. With our VEConfigure software, which can be downloaded free of charge from our website www.victronenergy.com, the inverters can be adapted as required. This includes output voltage and frequency, upper and lower voltage limits, and programming of the relay. The relay can be used, for example, to generate signals in special situations or to start a generator.

The inverters can also be connected to VENet, Victron Energy's innovative power monitoring network, or other computer-based control and monitoring systems.
