Ultra-fast MPPT Tracking
Especially in cloudy weather, when light intensity is constantly changing, the super-fast MPPT algorithm improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Advanced Maximum Power Point detection in case of partial shading. In the event of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to settle on a local MPP. However, this may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative algorithm of the SmartSolar device will always maximize energy yield by adjusting to the optimal MPP.

Intelligent Battery Management with the BatteryLife Algorithm
The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and slightly increases the load disconnect threshold daily until the constant voltage is reached. From this point on, the load disconnect threshold is modulated so that the constant voltage is reached approximately once a week.
The BatteryLife algorithm will increase the operating life of the battery compared to conventional battery algorithms, which always switch between "partially charged" and "fully charged" (due to low self-discharge)

Load Output
Overcharging the battery can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output.
The load output disconnects the loads when the battery has discharged to a preset voltage value. Alternatively, an intelligent battery management algorithm can be selected. The load output is short-circuit proof.
