A charge controller is the heart of every solar system, connecting the solar panel to the battery. The solar controller uses powerful technology to convert the fluctuating voltage throughout the day into a voltage adapted to the loads or optimized for ideal and gentle battery charging.

Ultra-fast MPPT tracking

Intelligent battery management with the BatteryLife algorithm
The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and slightly increases the load disconnect threshold daily until the bulk voltage is reached. From this point, the load disconnect threshold is modulated so that the bulk voltage is reached approximately once a week. The BatteryLife algorithm will increase the operating life of the battery compared to conventional battery algorithms that always cycle between "partially charged" and "fully charged" (due to low self-discharge)

Internal temperature sensor
An internal temperature measuring unit is, of course, installed, so that bulk and float voltages are temperature compensated. The full output current can thus be guaranteed up to 40°C.

Automatic battery voltage detection
The MPPT 150/85 automatically adapts to a 12 V, 24 V or 48 V system.
