Ultra-fast MPPT Tracking
Especially during cloudy skies, when light intensity constantly changes, the super-fast MPPT algorithm improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Advanced Maximum Power Point Detection in case of partial shading. In the event of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock onto a local MPP. However, this may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative algorithm of the SmartSolar device will always maximize the energy yield by locking onto the optimal MPP.

Intelligent Battery Management with the BatteryLife Algorithm
The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and slightly increases the load disconnect threshold daily until the bulk voltage is reached. From this point, the load disconnect threshold is modulated so that the bulk voltage is reached approximately once a week.
The BatteryLife algorithm will extend the operational lifespan of the battery compared to traditional battery algorithms that always switch between "partially charged" and "fully charged" (due to low self-discharge)
