Votronic chargers are characterized by high operational reliability and readiness for use, representing the latest state of the art. All charging programs are applied by the charger for gentle full charging and subsequent maintenance charging of the battery, including temperature compensation adjusted to the battery type when a temperature sensor is used. The supply of connected consumers is also handled during charging, dimensioned such that no more than 50% flows to consumers during the I-phase (initial charge).

With full batteries, almost the entire possible device charging current is available for consumers, without discharging the batteries.

Optimized for sealed, gas-tight gel/dryfit batteries with fixed electrolyte, which generally require a higher charging voltage level and longer U1 hold times to achieve short charging times with particularly high capacity storage and to avoid long-term battery "starvation". Also recommended for EXIDE MAXXIMA, high-current battery with AGM spiral technology.

2. "AGM": Charging program for AGM / fleece batteries, characteristic IU1oU2

Designed for charging sealed, gas-tight AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries and those with lead-fleece technology, which require a particularly high U1 level with coordinated hold times for full charging and then a moderate U2 level for maintenance charging (round cell and plate technology).

3. "UNIVERSAL": Charging program for lead-acid/wet cell batteries, characteristic IU1oU2oU3

Universal program for charging and maintenance charging of acid batteries in vehicles (mixed mobile/stationary). Offers short charging times with a medium U1 level, good charging factor, and good acid mixing for open and closed, low-maintenance, maintenance-free standard, traction, lighting, solar, and heavy-duty batteries.
