All charging programs are applied by the charger for gentle full charging and then for trickle charging of the battery, with temperature compensation adapted to the battery type when a temperature sensor is used. The supply of connected consumers is taken into account during charging, dimensioned so that no more than 50% flows to the consumers during the I-phase (initial charge).

When batteries are full, almost the entire possible device charging current is available for the consumers, without the batteries being discharged.

Tailored for sealed, gas-tight gel/dryfit batteries with fixed electrolyte, which generally require a higher charging voltage level and longer U1 hold times to achieve short charging times with particularly high capacity storage and to avoid long-term battery "starvation". Also recommended for EXIDE MAXXIMA, high-current battery in AGM spiral cell technology.

2. "AGM": Charging program for AGM / fleece batteries, characteristic curve IU1oU2

Designed for charging sealed, gas-tight AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries and those in lead-fleece technology, which require a particularly high U1 level with coordinated hold times for full charging and then a moderate U2 level for trickle charging (round cell and plate technology).

3. "UNIVERSAL": Charging program for lead-acid / wet batteries, characteristic curve IU1oU2oU3

Universal program for charging and trickle charging acid batteries in vehicles (mixed mobile/stationary). With a medium U1 level, it still offers short charging times, good charging factor and good acid mixing in open and closed, low-maintenance, maintenance-free standard, traction, lighting, solar and heavy-duty batteries.
