VOTRONIC charging boosters ensure optimal and fast charging of the supply battery from the alternator while driving. In contrast to a simple isolating relay, the charging voltage is increased to the value necessary for a full charge for the respective battery type and required by the battery manufacturers. This allows the full charging current to flow and considerable amounts of current to be charged into the battery in a short time. Long charging cables and losses, as well as voltage fluctuations at the alternator, are cleanly regulated.
 

Designed for operation with a 13-pin trailer plug for caravans and truck campers

The device is primarily designed for operation with the 13-pin trailer plug of the towing vehicle for charging the caravan battery. It automatically regulates itself so that the load capacity of the plug and the upstream vehicle electrical system (12 V / max. 20 Amps) is not exceeded. From this perspective, the performance of the device results. The charging converter is installed in the caravan/truck camper and provides the optimal charging voltage for the battery, regardless of vehicle onboard voltage fluctuations and cable/connector voltage losses.
