The VOTRONIC charging boosters ensure optimal and fast charging of the auxiliary battery from the alternator while driving. Unlike a simple relay, the charging voltage is increased to the value required for the respective battery type for a full charge and demanded by battery manufacturers. This allows the full charging current to flow and considerable amounts of current to be charged into the battery in a short time. Long charging lines and losses, as well as voltage fluctuations at the alternator, are cleanly regulated.
