The Votronic Solar Controller MPP 260 CI (Art. No. 1718) is the updated version of the proven MPPT charge controller – now with a new charging curve for heated LiFePO4 batteries, which also works without a temperature sensor. Visibly recognizable by the black connection terminals (instead of green) and the additional "T" in the designation. As a link between solar panel(s) and battery(ies), it ensures effective and reliable battery charging – ideal for motorhomes, caravans, boats, and self-sufficient solar systems.

MPPT Technology for Maximum Power Output

With MPP technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking), the controller automatically determines the maximum power output of the solar modules several times per second. The voltage surplus of the solar module is converted into a higher charging current for the battery – realized by high-frequency switching regulator technology with high efficiency. The result: shorter charging times and the best possible power utilization of your solar system.

New in Version 1718

The most important innovation of version 1718 is the additional charging curve for heated LiFePO4 batteries. This also works without the use of a temperature sensor – a clear practical advantage. The new version is easily recognizable externally by the black connection terminals (instead of the previous green ones).

• "IU1oU2" charging curve: Prevents harmful acid stratification (lead) and ensures equalization charging of individual battery cells, followed by automatic trickle charging.
• On-board power filter: Problem-free parallel operation with wind and engine generators, mains chargers, alternators, etc.
• Connection for battery temperature sensor: Absolutely necessary when the standard lithium curve is set.
