Tank sensor for plastic or metal tanks (according to drinking water regulation DIN 2001-2)

The tank sensors measure the fill level in the tank and transmit the measured value with only 2 wires to the display unit. They are supplied with 12 V or 24 V from the display unit and are currentless in the idle state. The potted electronics (IP 67) are also suitable for harsh operation on underfloor tanks and are frost-proof. All VOTRONIC tank sensors work independently of pressure, i.e., there is no distortion of the measured value due to overpressure in the tank, pressure refuelling, etc. Series protection against reverse polarity, overvoltage, short circuit, and overload is also included.

These tank sensors have been specially designed for measuring the fill level of water and water-containing media (fresh water, waste water, grey and service water, faeces) in metal or plastic tanks and are therefore universally applicable. The measuring electrode is simply shortened to the height of the tank, and the exact "full" adjustment is carried out by an adjuster on the device, for tank electrode 12-24 K with the help of a scale, even when "dry". The tank electrode 12-24 K can be installed from inside or outside on the top of the tank. In contrast to waste water and faeces tanks (sludge formation), installation on the bottom of the tank is also possible for fresh water tanks.
