Tank sensor for plastic or metal tanks (according to drinking water regulation DIN 2001-2)

The tank sensors measure the fill level in the tank and transmit the measured value with only 2 wires to the display unit. They are powered by 12 V or 24 V from the display unit and are currentless when at rest. The potted electronics (IP 67) are also suitable for harsh operation on underfloor tanks and are frost-proof. All VOTRONIC tank sensors operate independently of pressure, i.e. there is no distortion of the measured value due to overpressure in the tank, pressure fueling, etc. Standard protection against reverse polarity, overvoltage, short circuit, and overload is also included.

These tank sensors were specially designed for measuring the fill level of water and water-containing media (fresh water, waste water, gray and process water, faecal) in metal or plastic tanks and are therefore universally applicable. The measuring electrode can be easily shortened to the height of the tank, and the precise "full" adjustment is made by an adjuster on the device, or for the tank electrode 15-50 K, with the help of a scale, even "dry." The tank electrode 15-50 K can be installed from the inside or outside on the top of the tank. In contrast to waste water and faecal tanks (sludge formation), installation on the underside of the tank is also possible for fresh water tanks.
