The NOVA Core² 500 Ah is the consistent further development of the proven NOVA Core series and, at the same time, the most powerful WATTSTUNDE® battery. The second generation has been specifically optimized and offers you an energy storage solution with 500 Ah capacity and 12.8 V nominal voltage, designed for demanding and continuous applications. Particularly noteworthy are its compliance with the ECE R10.7 standard, the new BMS with up to 300 A discharge current, and the plug-and-play integration of CAN-Bus for Victron systems. This keeps you technically up-to-date and flexible in your setup.
New Performance through Optimized Battery Management System
The revised Battery Management System (BMS) is the central element of the NOVA Core². It allows for high discharge currents of up to 300 A (< 30 min) for short periods and reliably protects the battery from overcharging, deep discharge, overheating, and short circuits.
More Efficient Than Ever: Extremely Low Self-Consumption
A noticeable upgrade is the reduced self-consumption of only approx. 2.5 mA/h. This ensures your battery remains operational even after longer periods of inactivity.
Improved Connectivity with CAN-Bus & Bluetooth
Another feature is the integrated CAN-Bus interface, which allows you to integrate the battery directly into compatible systems (Victron) via plug & play. In addition, the new Bluetooth module provides a greater range and a more stable connection for battery monitoring.
Reliable Even in Cold Conditions Thanks to Integrated Heating Mat
As with its predecessor, the integrated heating mat ensures that the battery can be operated even at low temperatures.
