The WATTSTUNDE® ULTRALIGHT solar cases are the consistent further development of existing portable solar solutions. The stable construction allows use even under adverse conditions - the sophisticated lightweight design ensures stability with a surprisingly low weight. The application possibilities are diverse: In addition to classic areas such as camping and leisure, the ULTRALIGHT solar case is also suitable for demanding uses: expeditions and maritime applications are easily possible due to the robust design. Campervans, panel vans (including off-road vehicles such as Land Rover Defender) and many other off-grid systems can be supplied with energy more easily than ever before. The solar cases set a new standard for portable and flexible solar solutions.
Plug & Play with professional connector system
The WATTSTUNDE® ULTRALIGHT cases have a twin-core 5m long connection cable, which is equipped with a small Anderson plug at the end. This allows for quick and polarity-safe connection of the case within one minute. Easier than ever. The charge controller is connected once with the supplied battery connection cable (1.5 m length, integrated fuse), so you do not need any additional components.
The high energy yield of monocrystalline solar panels can even be slightly increased with the solar case, as the modules can be freely aligned. The motorhome or car can be parked in the shade, and the photovoltaic cells placed in the sun. Throughout the day, the solar case can always be optimally aligned with the sun.
Further information
Cars usually do not offer enough space for conventional solar modules with their small roof areas, but a solar case can be easily transported. This way, even a small car can be supplied with energy independently. Connection cables are integrated in the case, so maximum flexibility is guaranteed. The only thing you need additionally is a 12V solar battery to store the generated electricity and be able to retrieve it later. We have selected a high-quality range of suitable deep-cycle batteries for you, which you can find in the Batteries category.
Please note that no charge controller is included in the scope of delivery of the WS80SUL ULTRA LIGHT. This is because in most cases charge controllers are already present or customers want to choose a charge controller themselves.
